1964 Vintage Faygo clear glass quart soda bottle manufactured by the Anchor Hocking Glass Co.
A raised heel rises up one inch (2.5cm) from the bottom to a smooth slightly recessed body where a paper label was. The smooth body area terminates at the shoulder 5 & 3/4" (14.6cm) up. The slightly raised shoulder gradually transitions into the neck. Stippling covers the shoulder/neck area and fades into the finish. "Faygo" is embossed on front and back where the neck begins. The embossed lettering "ONE QUART" follows around the top of the base. "64", "Faygo", "DETROIT MICH." and "L-905B" go horizontally across the bottom. Just below that the word "REGISTERED" follows around the bottom of the base. The old Anchor Hocking maker's mark is sideways to the mid-left (top outward) with a number "5" just below it and an "8" on the mid-bottom right side. A raised ring 1/4" wide is around the outside of the base with a mold mark around the outer edge. Mold marks travel up both sides from the heel to the crown cap finish.
This bottle is in good condition with some wear on the heel and bottom of the shoulder. There are some small chips on the heel, shoulder and finish. This quart bottle is the "family size" of the time and held any number of flavors except cola that was in an identical green colored bottle. Vintage Orange Crush 10 oz. ACL (Applied Color Label) clear glass soda bottle
manufactured by Owens-Illinois Glass Company in 1965.
Raised fluted sides flow up and terminate about half way up the body in a
triangular from on the sides. Stippling covers the entire bottle. The ACL
labeling is white on green lettering in the area below the shoulder with the
trademark "Crush" on both sides and with "CONTENTS 10 FL BOTTLED
UNDER
AUTHORITY CRUSH INTERNATIONAL INC., EVANSTON, ILL" on the back below the
trademark lettering. The lettering "G -18325" followed by a number
"7" the Owens-Illinois maker's mark and the numbers "65" and
number "2" followed by a dot are embossed in the base. The embossed
information on the bottom follow the contour of the base. The base is concave with
stippling across the whole bottom.
This bottle is in fair condition with small chips, some wear and some damage to

Vintage Royal Crown Cola (RC ) 12 oz. ACL (Applied Color Label) glass soda
bottle manufactured by Owens-Illinois Glass Company in 1967. Fluted sides
gently flow up to the neck that terminates at a narrow ring topped by a typical
soda bottle finish. There are two raised flat diamond areas on front and back
(starting just above the middle of the body) containing the RC logo. The words
"12 FLUID OUNCES" are on both sides of the neck. The ACL colors are
red on white. A small circular dimple (3/16" dia.) is on the heel and mold
marks going around the lower part of the heel. Mold marks run up both sides
from the heel mold mark to the top of the lip. Height is 9 & 1/2" (24.2cm)
and width is 2 & 3/8" (6cm).
A vintage era soda bottle popular with collectors. This bottle is in

Vintage 12 ounce machine made amber (brown) glass "Stubby Bottle"
style beer bottle. Circa 1967. No label or cap. The brand is unknown.
On the shoulder is the words "NO DEPOSIT" (star) "NO
RETURN" and on the
opposite side shoulder is the words "NOT TO BE REFILLED". A band of
embossed dots (stippling) start at the heel and extends up the body about 3/4"
and
another band of dots goes from the shoulder down 1/2". A ring of stippling
about 1/4" wide circle the bottom along with a circular mold mark. Bottom
Embossing contains an "L" inside a square maker's mark (Lincoln
Container
Corporation) left of center, the number "27" (possibly the mold
number) right of
center and the number "67" (possibly the year of manufacture) below
center.
Mold lines extend from the heel to the lip.

bottle. Circa 1970. No label or cap. The brand is unknown.
A round base angles gently out to a 4" (10.2cm) tall barrel shaped body.
The 1/4" (0.6cm) wide shoulder angles sharply to a 2" (5.1cm) long conical neck terminating at a four
treaded finish with a 1" (2.5cm) outside diameter lip. On the heel is the words "NO DEPOSIT" (star)
"NO REFILL" and on the opposite side heel is "PLEASE DO NOT LITTER". A ring
of stippling about 3/8" (.9cm) wide circles the bottom with 1" (2.5cm) diameter circular stippling in the center.
Mold lines extend from the heel to a screw top finish with angled ring just below. An "M-8" is embossed to
the left of an Owens-Illinois Glass Company maker's mark (I inside an oval) at center is followed by "70" in an arc at the top of the bottle bottom. A number "8" is bottom center.

Circa 1975 machine made 16oz larger sized Pepsi-Cola "Swirl" bottle.
A round base with embossed swirling flutes and embossed PEPSI log on the shoulder with twist off cap finish
16oz Pepsi-Cola "Swirl" bottle manufactured in 1975 by Chattanooga Glass Co.1927-1987 (CGC).
The body goes straight up from the 2 3/4" (7cm) base with a slight skirt near the heel. The words,
"DISPOSE OF PROPERLY" is embossed on the front of the skirt and "NO REFILL"
on the back.
The embossed flutes twist around the body in a slow turn (like candy cane stripes) and terminate at the shoulder.
Embossed on the front shoulder is the Pepsi logo with words "PEPSI" and "16FL. OZ.
(1 PINT)" along the bottom edge of the logo. On the back shoulder is the logo with "PEPSI-COLA
" and "16FL. OZ. (1 PINT)" along the bottom edge of that logo. The finish has a plain ring collar
and a continuous external thread for a "twist off cap" closure.
Mold marks run up the sides and around the heel. On the base there is a 1/4" (6mm) wide stippled ring made
up of four rows of dots and another mold mark around the inside of the ring. Along the lower arch of the inside circle
(push-up area) is embossed the following numbers, "75" a larger sized "7" and a letter
"C" inside a circle, the numbers "3" and "60521" in the same size as the first numbers.

A round base transitions into a 1/2" (1.3cm) tall heel. A 1/4" (.6cm) band of stippling
defines the bottom of a slightly inset cylindrical body that rises up 2 3/8" (6cm) to another 1/4"
(.6cm) band of stippling below the shoulder. The 1 1/2" (3.8cm) tall shoulder angles in sightly to
the 3/4" (1.9cm) tall neck that curves inward toward a four threaded finish with a 1" (2.5cm)
outside diameter lip. The threaded ring is narrow with fine threads at only 1/4" (.6cm) wide.
On the heel is the words "NO REFILL" and on the opposite side heel is the words
"DISPOSE OF PROPERLY". An an Owens-Illinois Glass Company maker's mark
(I inside an oval) follwoed by "S-9" is embossed in an arch across the top bottom. In an arch
across the bottom is embossed an "S", a number "8" followed by the number
"75". A ring of embossed crescents (like parentheses) about 1/8" (.3cm) wide circles
the outside bottom with offset circular mold marks on a plain concave center. Mold lines extend from the
heel to a screw top finish with a slight ring just below the threads.

This clear glass bottle has the stubby bottle design so common
with beer bottles. The entire surface is covered by a light stippling. The main
part of the body is slightly inset and on the front and back is an embossed
square framing the trademark "Pepsi-Cola" and "Pepsi" logo with "10 FL. OZ." just below.
Embossed on the shoulder is the words "DISPOSE OF PROPERLY" and "NO REFILL". It
has a screw cap finish with 3 threads. The bottom is concave with stippling
on the edge. The letter "C", numbers "18-76", the Owens Illinois maker's mark and the
number "52" follow the round contour of the bottom. The center has a circle of
spiral stippling.
