Hopsfield Farm produces hops for the Michigan craft beer industry. In addition
to hops, vegetables, herbs and spices are cultivated. Hopsfield also offers other products
and services allowed by the Michigan Right to Farm Act and Cottage Food Industry laws.
Our goal is to offer high quality hops, produce, cullinary herbs, and other naturally sourced
products in a diverse sustainable agricultural system. The farm features natural habitat
areas for wildlife conservation and local water quality.
Products and Services
The primary product is high quality hops sold to local micro breweries,
hobby brewers and wholesale buyers. Retail sales to micro breweries/hobby
brewers can be in dried or fresh wet hops. Wholesale orders are wet or dry
whole "leaf hops" up to half bales. The main varieties of hops grown are,
Chinook, Cascade and Centennial. Other products and services include some or
